Move some of the mini games to tablets. Being able to access the market and industry from you phone on your way to or from work (or during a boring meeting) would be one way to do it (and it has been proposed a lot of times).
But what if you were able to do other things on your tablet like remote hacking? A friend goes in guns blazing in a hacking site and when everything is clear he activates a remote hacking module which makes it possible for his clever buddy to do the hacking from the bathtub at his hotel room.
Also... what if your buddy in the bathtub could hack a target ship? Similar, but instead of getting things you shut down the engine or shields or something on the targeted ship.
And, if there were a Large Fleet Interface (good name, I'll Gäó that) that showed only information like number of ships and systems this would make it easier to move large fleets around and you could also have an actual fleet commander who don't bother with mundane things like primaries. If this Large Fleet InterfaceGäó was able to run on a tablet/phone the fleet commander would play the game as chess while the rest of us dies trying to shoot things.
Maybe this could be done similar to the DUST/EVE tie-in that is done with codes or magnets or something. I admit I have no idea how DUST works.

Didn't say you were not supposed to be able to do it the normal way with the normal hacking module, as it has been done thousands of times every day. This just open up another aspect of the game.
And you can get an android tablet or phone for less than $50, so even a poor guy like me can afford one.

I add this edit here too so everyone notice it.
Edit to original post. Everyone should still be able to use market, industry, hacking, and other things in the normal game client. This is just an addition to make out of game and in game blend together. Similar to how you can read EVE mail or talk to people in the in game voice chat channels from a normal web browser.

When buddies are in the bath, for everyone's safety I prefer if they use low power machines
Actually, Halldor Fannar had ideas for more mobile things through Amazon AppStream but I don't know how those plans went.
